The market
What this place actually is, commercially
Silver Springs is the area around the state park east of Ocala, with lodging, food and attraction-adjacent businesses alongside the trades serving east Marion. It also has a naming problem that materially affects search, and it is the kind of thing that is invisible until someone looks at the actual search data.
Two places share most of a name
Silver Springs and Silver Springs Shores are different places — the second is a large residential area southeast of Ocala. People searching, and sometimes Google, conflate them. If you serve one and rank for the other, you get inquiries from people who are not near you and you lose the ones who are. Getting this right means being explicit on the page about which you mean, and it is the single highest-value thing to fix here.
Park adjacency is an asset with a specific shape
The state park brings visitors who search before they arrive, much like Dunnellon — glass-bottom boats, the springs, the trails. If you sell to them, you are in a planning-stage content business rather than a proximity business. If you sell to residents of east Marion, the park is irrelevant to your marketing and building around it wastes the effort.
The residential side is straightforward and neglected
The trades serving Silver Springs Shores and east Marion have an ordinary local search problem: proximity, profile, reviews, service pages. It is the least glamorous work in this county and it is where most of the money is, because so few of the businesses there have done any of it.
The honest version
What you can and cannot win from here
Decide which of the two names your customers use and build for that one deliberately. Trying to rank for both from one page produces a page that is ambiguous to Google and unconvincing to a reader. If you genuinely serve both, that is two pages with two different service-area explanations, not one page with both names in the title.
